The sight is always charging an internal power storage cell, but it also utilizes a separate backup battery for triple power redundancy. Finally, the Multiple Reticle System (MRS) offers flexibility in visual perspectives.

The reticle is interchangeable between a 65 MOA ring with 2 MOA dot, a ring only and a dot only depending on situational needs. A single LED projects all three reticles, so no re-zeroing is ever required. Though the HS510C mounts at an absolute co-witness as a default, this combo pack includes a bonus spacer so the HS510C can be mounted at a lower 1/3 co-witness if desired. The HM3X flip-to-the-side magnifier features a very generous 2.75 of eye relief, extremely clear glass, and an adjustable diopter for focus control. With a simple flip of the wrist, the operator can transition from no magnification to 3x power and back again.
