Swampfox Blade 1x25mm Prism Sight with Red/Green CQB Reticle
The Blade by Swampfox is a 1x25mm prism sight, It incorporates a bullet rise compensating (BRC) etched reticle that accounts for the optic's height over bore, making it particularly suitable for distances of 5, 10 and 15 yd on a 5.56. The Shake N' Wake feature automatically powers the device on and off, thereby conserving battery life. The etched reticle ensures a clear sight picture, which is advantageous for shooters with astigmatism.
The Blade is engineered to enhance reliability and performance, serving as a dependable and efficient aiming tool for any shooter. It is specifically designed to address the challenges encountered in CQB situations, offering a precise and rapid response to height over bore issues. Additionally, the BRC reticle provides a 50-200 yd zero at the tip of the chevron, further augmenting its utility. Settings 1 and 2 ensure NV device compatibility, settings 3 to 8 are optimized for indoor brightness, while 9 and 10 provide daylight brightness for direct overhead light conditions. Prism optics, unlike standard red-dot sights, impose limitations on eye relief and the eye box, requiring precise alignment for optimal performance.
A 13.5mm exit pupil has been incorporated to effectively address this issue, offering an expansive and accommodating field of view. After installation, adjust the rear diopter to enable a shooting experience with both eyes open. An etched reticle provides advantages for all users, including those with astigmatism or individuals preparing for extreme survival scenarios. The Blade's integrated 1913 picatinny mounting system enhances structural integrity, ensuring a straightforward and reliable mounting process.
