The CAT PRO is easily installed on optics-ready slides or mounts compatible with Shield RMSc or JPoint footprints. While on, the sight automatically sleeps after 4 minutes of non-activity but quickly comes back to life as soon as it is moved. Its high-quality potted and waterproof electronics, and our own "Super LED" with up to 50,000 hours of battery life, all using readily available CR1632 batteries. Let's start with what is the same, the CAT PRO still features our signature taper, which means when you go to grab your slide you're not getting a hand, or should we say, fingers full, of overhanging optic. Continuing on what we did great with the original CAT, we ask the question, do you hate cleaning your tiny LED glass? With revolutionary windowless LED emitter technology featured on all Cyelee Optics open red or green dot pistol optics, you will ALWAYS have the crispest dot possible. That is correct, we eliminated the tiny, second, LED emitter window, and it is STILL IPX7 fully submersible waterproof. The new CAT PRO doesn't just look different, in addition to a thicker window frame to make sure you can keep going thru drops and hits, we have revised the optics deck thickness and rear iron sights. Now thinner compared to the original CAT, and with revised rear irons, the CAT PRO has increased compatibility with standard pistol front iron sights. We cannot promise your front iron sights will line up perfectly for long-range or target shooting, but on the vast majority of pistols, they are useful for center mass shots in that critical 5 to 25 feet where a situation is likely to occur. Good without training, even better with it, the Cyelee CAT PRO is ready for all situations, with backup iron sights for pistols like the P365, that may not otherwise have the option.

Of course one of the biggest changes is the side-loading CR1632 battery, that is right, we not only made the CAT PRO thinner, but we also got rid of the bottom-loading battery. That means even stronger protection against the weather, and no need to remove the optic and re-zero. With what cannot be seen on the CAT PRO, we start with the buttons, they have been modified so that the chances of accidentally pushing them while holstered whether concealed carried or open carried is practically zero. We have also introduced with our PRO lineup, a LOCKOUT feature.

This allows you to ensure that even if buttons are accidentally activated your dot will stay ON, and at the correct brightness setting you need, when you need it! APE Stands for Anti-Press Engaged, when things get wild you definitely want to be in APE MODE!

To get APE Locked simply press both buttons on your optic at the same time and hold for 6 seconds. To unlock APE is the same procedure. When locked or unlocked your red dot will flash multiple times to let you know you're good to go. While APE Locked any button presses will not change settings, your dot will still be able to enter MDS Mode (Motion Deactivated Standy) but it cannot be turned off or have the brightness changed until it is unlocked from APE.

When we say daylight bright we mean so bright you can't use the highest settings indoors. Utilizing a multi-coated lens for Red Dot versions to boost perceived brightness and battery life, our optics have multiple settings below what human eyes can perceive for enhanced low-light optic(NV) devices. But they are also bright enough for noon desert shooting, for use with high lumens flashlights, and for when the sun is bearing down on you, don't miss a beat. MDS Stands for Motion Deactivated Standby, Cyelee Optics products will NEVER have an automatic shut-off, they can ONLY be shut off by manually holding the down/- button for 4 seconds. When shut-off only MANUAL button presses/holds can turn the optic on. However while ON the optic is always checking if it needs to go into MDS Mode. Walking with, or even heavy footsteps near your optic, will keep your optic awake, however, if it senses no movement for 5-7 minutes it will enter MDS Mode, when it senses motion in MDS Mode it will display the red dot within a split second.
