ADE RD3-013 Red Dot Sight + Optic Mount Plate For 1911 Novak Rear Sight Pistol

  
Comes with an ADE Bertrillium RD3-013 RED dot sight, a picatinny plate(pre-assembled), and a optic mounting plate designed to fit 1911 pistols with standard Novak(does NOT fit Novak OVERSIZE) rear sight cut by replacing the factory rear sight on standard NOVAK dovetail. 1911s have several different rear sight dovetail cuts, such as ColtG. Standard, LPA, Novak standard/traditional and Novak Oversize rear sight. This ADE Optic Plate made by ADE is for Novak Standard/traditional rear sight ONLY. It does NOT fit any 1911 that does NOT has a traditional Novak rear sight. Minor modification to the sight base may be necessary for some 1911s including Rock Islands, Citadels, and GSG 1911. While it is possible to install this mount without the use of a gunsmith, we recommend hiring a qualified gunsmith. Unprofessional installation will result in screw loose, not holding zero, damage to the firearm/optic and personal injury. One of the advantage of this ADE plate over others is this optic plate has a CURVED / CONCAVED design that will sit flush(wrap the top curved pistol slide) on the top of the pistol. Many other plates are Flat design. This optic plate for Novak Does NOT fit any Novak cut that is NOT GENUINE/traditional/true Novak rear sight cut, such as some Taurus 1911 and some Ruger 1911 who use Licensed Novak rear sight but created their own sizes cut. The optic plate for 1911 with Standard Novak rear sight requires removal the rear sight and disassemble the pistol. We recommend hiring a professional gunsmith. Unprofessional installation such as improper torque(12in/lb) will result in screw loose, not holding zero, damage to the firearm/optic and personal injury.

Top load system, no need to remove the sight to change the battery. Red dot has multi brightness level with one adjustment button. Every time you turn on the dot it stays the same brightness level last time it was turned off. Shock proof, Fog proof and Waterproof for 30 minutes under 4ft water. New advanced battery technology gives up to 3000 hours on bright setting and up to 40k hours on Low setting with a 2032 Battery(Included).

Installing optic plate to handgun is NOT recommended for users that are not familiar with pistol assembly. This optic plate requires removal of the rear sight, dissemble the pistol slide to reach the screw hole underneath. Unprofessional installation such as improper torque will result in screw loose, not holding zero, damage to the firearm/optic and personal injury. As such, the more you save the more we make.
